Mission
‘Kobitay Kathalap’ was conceived by Chandrima Roy from a burning passion to ignite young
minds and enlighten audience with well-researched, informative concepts and presentations.
Over the years this brand has evolved as a platform to spread awareness and learning about
the importance of communication as a skill in all possible aspects of life, be it education,
business, fine arts or the personal sphere of an individual.
1. We are trying to help people to be better in communication using poetry as a tool. Through
poetry exercises we will offer better command on diction, pronunciation, voice modulation
and oration skills.
2. Kobitay Kathalap is an installation format which aims at rejuvenating the ancient art form
of ‘kathokatha’ presenting various story-based productions that incorporate poetry as the key
ingredient with inclusion of Indian classical instruments and dance forms.
3. ‘Sansthita’ aims at sharing the immense effectiveness of Vedic Stotra and mantras which
help children to focus more, develop concentration, mitigate hyper activities and adults also
benefit a lot in developing harmony in themselves and arrive at inner peace.
4. Bangla Sekhar e-School is an initiative that plans to offer a collective exposure of Bengal’s
culture, rituals, festivals, seasons, literature and play cinemas to the children who are
growing up in abroad.
